Holocaust Sculpture

This sculpture is a poignant memory of the atrocities of the Holocaust. Each body is stack and piled methodically. Enlarged hands, feet, and heads coupled with thinning torsos and limbs show the starvation. The figures' cracks and split limbs show the pain of working at a camp. The figures lack eye balls to symbolize the world's indifference to these atrocities. The figures are enclosed in a wooden crate to represent the inhumane way victims were transported to the work and death camps.
